    1. can anyone help? My English is not so good and I don’t understand the word ‘darry’ or ‘derrie’ or derie – which helps (if avoided) to have clear skin. My friend really suffers and if anyone coul write the correct pronounciation – that woud be great! Thanks in advance

  1. Yummy to my tummy. Thank you for sharing beauties. I like the idea of praying- blessing food before eating. I tend to do some eft before I eat
To take in what I’m eating- bless and be grateful and ask to digest with ease and nourish my body-
    Love. Kx

  2. Has anyone tried the coconut dark lindt chocolate…Fantastic.
love green smoothies, love Quinoa, love Salads. Woop!!
I allow myself one skinny latte a day…you can’t get almond milk ones in NZ yet but I am sure you can one day!

  3. As a mother of 6 , I appreciate you & admire all you’ve done to overcome your addictions. You are an example of living a healthy , mindful , spiritual life I just realized the word healthy has the word heal in it! I hope to attend another one of your lectures when I’m back in NYC visiting my kids .
    Happy new year & blessings

  4. I love the idea of praying before meals, it’s something we never really did in my family growing up but it’s never too late to start!

Gabby, since you don’t eat meat or dairy, where do you get your protein from?

  5. Dairy is not bad if it is raw. It is all the ‘stuff’ that happens to it when large corporations are involved and it is ‘processed’. You would be surprised at the benefits to your body/skin if you educate yourself and speak to someone who is well versed in this area.

  6. And lastly, if you’re in auto-pilot mode and going to eat foods from the ‘not-good-for-you-list’ at least allow yourself to taste and ENJOY them!!! And then forgive yourself 🙂
From an ex-overeater who was helped by Geneen Roth’s methods.

I loved this vid! So funky! and great music.

  7. Thanks Gabby. I really enjoyed this video! I love that you include a lot of good healthy fats such as avocado and olive oil into your diet. So amazing for your hair and skin.
I think I need to start my day with avocado on toast!

  8. Another dairy-free girl! 🙂 Going dairy free significanlty reduces inflammation in the body. So worth it!

Check out this recipe for avocado fries. http://www.treehugger.com/green-food/weekday-vegetarian-avocado-fries.html
I also like to make an avocado spread for my toast with hemp oil, onion, lemon, sea salt, lemongrass and celantro.
By the way, do you know of the Vega (www.myvega.com) line of smoothies? I got hooked on that after quitting the caffeine. I also drink matcha green tea to get an energy boost.

  9. Thanks for sharing, Gabby! We have a very similar diet! Except I loooove me some Fage Greek yogurt! Obsessed! But I also consume a sh*t ton of veggies AND fruit! You are adorable as ever in this video, loved it!

  10. Thanks, ladies!! I am such a green juicer, too – Gabby, I am just itching to send you free samples of my company’s protein shakes…dairy/soy/gluten-free, vegan and SAVES MY DAY every time I need a healthy meal but am short on time. Hooray for healthy eats!

  11. Gabby, as much as I love your Spirit Junkie food tips, I spent majority of that video salivating over the greatness of your dress! (any tips on where I can find one like yours?)
P.S. Love that you love olive oil as much as me!

  12. I love that you incorporate the healthy fats! I know a lot of women (me 2 years ago) avoid avo, oils and nuts to save on calories – but the health benefits are so worth it. Thanks chica – I love your work! Sending fatty omega-3 vibes your way 🙂

  13. this was awesome and we eat very similar – I am also eating meals now instead of picking and its so great- You are all super duper beautiful but i have to say that woman in the animal print is crazy awesome hot 🙂

  14. This was a very inspiring video! I need to start taking better care of myself for sure! I just have a couple of questions though… is dairy really that bad for you? I love yogurt, and can’t imagine giving it up. Also, if you work shift work, how do you recommend keeping a good eating schedule? Thanks so much!!

  15. This is so great! I know you talk about coffee a lot and contemplate quitting it. I just wanted to offer a resources should you ever decide to try to let it go. It’s called “Dandy Blend.” I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but if not, it is an herbal beverage of dandelion root and other extracts… The only thing I’ve ever had that is not coffee that tastes like it and can fill the void for me… (and it’s actually good for you!!!) Thank you for all that you do. xo

  16. Hi All
Im from Australia and i was really interested in the vlog heathly eating and would love some tips on becoming diary free.

  17. Thanks for sharing this Gabby. I just found your blog and books. Do you still eat Ezekiel? I’ve been trying different types of sprouted bread.

  18. When / why did you transition to meat in your diet. I’d love to hear more about that, I’ve been looking online for posts regarding that topic. Recently on the gabby train! Reading all of your books /loving them. and following along on instagram. xoxo
