The Solution to Your ONLY Problem

I want to start today’s blog by asking you a few quick questions:

  • Do you feel low level negative vibes throughout the day?
  • Do you compare yourself to others, whether negatively or positively?
  • Are you holding on to negative beliefs about yourself or someone else that you just can’t release?

Tweet it: The moment we release judgment, unity is restored — and each shift from judgment to unity is a miracle. @gabbybernstein

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then it’s likely you’re caught in a judgment spiral.

Judgment keeps us from peace, and the reason is simple: It creates separation. Though judgment may be our default, unity is our truth. The moment we release judgment, unity is restored — and each shift from judgment to unity is a miracle.

In the video below, I share my personal experience of what it means (and takes) to detox from judgment. Watch it and set yourself free! This is the solution to your only problem…

  1. I watched this as a followup from the detox workshop I attended Saturday. I wanted to ask a question but we ran out of time: I work in the media and all we do is judge. I think I am the least judgmental one that I work with & let a lot of comments or conversations slide past me without comment because I don’t want the negativity in my life. More often, I think that makes me look like I can’t form an opinion about the topic at hand or won’t “fit in” because I don’t want to sit and talk shit about whatever it is they are “discussing”. It’s a non stop judgmental conversation, all day long sitting in a room with 10-15 people, 5 days a week for sometimes more than 8 hours a day. I can only go on so many walks throughout the day or listen to podcasts to escape it…. I’m trying not to judge my judgmental coworkers for having such harsh opinions about things but I find myself sitting quietly in a loud environment praying for their happiness & my sanity because of their bitter and judgmental attitudes they have about life & the workplace. They try to pull me into the nasty conversations they have, and sometimes I fall into it, but lately I’ve been telling myself “Not today! I will not be pulled into this negativity.” Is there a way I can help resolve this?

    Thank you.

  2. Hi Gabby,

First off I am SO grateful to you! I cannot thank you enough for all the value you have brought to my life and continue to do so. XOXO

I just missed to cut off for the judgement detox promotion with the Miracle Membership… Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a stretch for me to buy the workshop right now. I was just wondering if this is something that you will offer for purchase after the workshop? I feel as though my biggest block is my constant judgment. I feel as though I cannot trust others or myself and it is hurting all areas of my life. I would LOVE to get the workshop in the near future if possible!

Sending you massive love & light,

  3. I love the tip about eating before caffeine intake! I, too, am a coffee drinker (even 1/2 cup a day in the morning suffices my craving). I also enjoy a hot beverage in the morning and have had to explore with other choices other than coffee. Hot water with a squeezed lemon slice or a drop of lemon essential oil (when a lemon is not available) and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper seems to stimulate my system without over stimulating my nerves. I even like to add a teaspoon of chyawanprash (a sweet herbal supplement used in Ayurvedic, which adds flavor, an antioxidant & source of vitamin C) & a shot of cream. When traveling a chai tea latte or green tea latte are drinks of choice!

  4. Gabby, you are always on point. Every post is perfectly aligned with the message I need in that moment. I’m so grateful for you and the impact that your teachings have had on my life the past year. I just moved to LA from NYC. Id love any tips on any spiritual centers here in LA if you have any suggestions! Thanks again for all you do.

  5. I am so glad you are doing work on judgement Gabby! I’ve been a spirit junkie for many years and have a lot of personal development and spiritual work on myself but I still struggle with self judgement and judgement of others. I’m aware that I do it now but I still have a hard time stopping myself. It’s a complex issue that many people deal with (either consciously or not) and we will greatly benefit from you shedding some light on this darkness.

  6. I really don’t know how or what I would be doing without all your great books/videos and advice. It has become really tough for me lately and I can’t decide if its my judgement or if its fear that’s been pushing me back from what it is I want in life. Sometimes I feel like I am on the right path and I feel amazing!! Other days I am confused and slowly letting my ego take over once more… I am SO excited for your new book to come out. I hope this practice will help me figure out what it is I need to change.

Thank your for being so amazing and helpful to so many beautiful people <3

  7. Than you Gabby xox you are great ! I have special story what connect me wet you keep your light bright and shine ,I hope you came back to Sydney again ! Love xx

  8. Thanks baby, I really need this right now. My judgement is going crazy to one person, and yes she may have not been kind to me, but I don’t need to go on the low level vibe in retaliation.

See you tonight, perfect timing <3
    Love you

  9. Ya, so I’ve been doing this witnessing for awhile. Maybe since I started reading your books actually 2-3 years ago. It’s crazy how many times during the day your mind goes to judgement. AND important to note that it is so very important to stop yourself from doing it in front of your child/children. When I catch my daughter doing it, I say, ‘lets not judge that person’. Not that I’m perfect, but maybe if she/I hears it enough it will help. I need to move into the next stage, which I’m assuming is STOPPING the judging. Easier said than done I suppose…

  10. Oh my goodness Gabby!! You are always so on-point! I look to your wisdom as a constant guiding force in my life and completely relate to living in a mental loop of judgment! Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing this absolutely relatable topic to the forefront of our minds so that we can acknowledge and release unforgiveness and choose love again!! I’ve read and continue to read all your books on the daily and can’t wait for the newest additions!! Always praying for protection and blessings!! Namaste!

  11. Wow! You’re so in touch with your audience! Lately I’ve really been trying to work on my judgmental side. It’s ironic because I get frustrated with other people who are judgmental (especially regarding racism) and yet, I, in turn, judge those people! It’s funny cause I’m pretty open minded in general, but I find myself judging those closest to me; relatives, casual friends and acquaintances. I get very frustrated with people who aren’t open-minded and tolerant; but then, I’m not open minded or tolerant of them. I can’t wait for you new book(s), already have the others and loved (and recommended) every one of them:-) You fucking rock!!!

  12. Hi Gabby,
