Note: Updated in January 2019 for clarity and additional resources.
I am dedicating this week’s blog to Tyler Clementi, who committed suicide this past week. He was a student at Rutgers University, and his roommate posted him having sexual relations with a man on the internet.
As a result of this cyber bullying, he committed suicide and jumped off a bridge. Many millions of Americans are deeply moved by his story and are inspired to have their voices heard and shift this paradigm.
Make a commitment to love
That’s why for the next month I’m asking you to join me in shifting this pattern.
For the next 30 days, I’ll guide you towards reprogramming your thinking and repositioning your media intake with 3 easy steps.
In this blog and video below, I’ll share the 3 things you can do this month to move from negativity to love and create a more positive digital experience.
30 days of positivity
Step 1: Positive posting
For the next 30 days, tweet something, Facebook something, or even send an email where you share something positive or loving. It can be as simple as sharing a quote or video. By doing this, you’re leading the people that follow you into a better state of energy, thinking, and vibration.
When we serve, we feel better. This positively enhances the lives of all the people that are following you on your social media pages. It also makes you feel incredible to see the responses and to feel the love that comes from sharing love.
Step 2: Relinquish judgment
We are trained and programmed to go into attack mode and judge. For the next 30 days let’s practice releasing that attack and judgment. When we find ourselves attacking others in our minds or actions, simply say a prayer for that person or for yourself.
Begin to shift your thinking around how you’re attacking and judging isn’t enhancing your own energetic state or the state of the planet. Take into consideration what that negativity is putting out.
Heal judgment with my book Judgment Detox
If you struggle with judgment — toward someone you know, someone you don’t know, or even yourself — I encourage you check out my book Judgment Detox.
In the book I offer a 6-step method to help you heal judgment so you can feel free.
You’ll heal old wounds, let go of resentment and anger, and feel a newfound sense of peace.
Step 3: Silently bless people throughout the day
Silently bless those in your home, office, silently bless your friends and more importantly, silently bless strangers. Shine the light that is within you onto them and they will reap the benefits.
I can guarantee that these three steps will positively enhance your life and the planet in many ways.
Let’s enhance the planet one loving thought at a time.
If there is a young woman following you on Twitter and she sees that every day you are posting something positive, she will be inspired to post something positive, as well. A negative person in your office will see your energy shift and their energy will shift accordingly. If there is a person you’ve been attacking in your mind and you start to forgive, they will feel it. As a result of them feeling that release, they can show up to their highest capacity.
While we join together in this ban against bullying and cyber attacks, let’s come together on the Her Future Power Posse and communicate about this. Let’s share stories and support any woman on our site who has been experiencing negativity or bullying of any kind. I ask you to join me and support these women and support others with your own stories.
