Sit Back & Receive

Hi Spirit Junkies!

I work hard to balance my Eff it Let’s Go mentality with my sit back and RECEIVE approach to life. In this vlog I teach you the power of stillness and receptivity. The purpose of this message is to guide you to know when to take action and when to be still. You’ll come to understand that stillness is sometimes the greatest action.

I also included my Eff it Let’s Go vlog so that you can marry these principles and balance your action steps with your receptivity.

    1. i haven’t heard this. and i can play it on my iphone so not sure what’s happening. they are on youtube. so if you get a youtube app you will 100% be able to see them:)

  1. This couldn’t have come at the more perfect time…thank you.
I love the idea of “marrying” these two energies…that there are times to ef-it let’s go and other times to sit back, watch things unfold and to RECEIVE.
    So well put.
    See you in January!
    with love and in gratitude-
    Tara

  2. Hi Gabby,

Awesome vlog! It was very timely and helped me to relax as I work hard this holiday season on my own business. I hope you have a wonderful holiday week, and I look forward to your next vlog!

    Best,

    Hadley Gustin

  3. Seeing these two videos together and the ideas in them was really what I needed this week. I hadn’t seen the Eff it video, but had that kind of week anyway, put myself out there professionally and personally, and focused on that. I’m moving into a receiving space, both personally and professionally, to kind of recover and reevaluate from last week, and so the timing was really great to remind me of those things. Thanks.

  4. thank you for your positive energy and inspiration! your vlogs, the -ing guide help a lot looking differently at myself, people in my life and situations. I am not always sure when it´s time to “eff it let´s go” or when better to “sit back and receive”. Sometimes if I chose to eff it I am afraid of being to aggressive, if I sit back I think i´m not doing enough… I will find the balance one day!
again thank you and I wish you all the best 🙂

  5. I missed the Eff it let’s go video. I started watching today’s vlog and BAM! Eff it! I needed to see that one more! I have been stopping myself and needed a mantra to push me when my fear grows beyond my purpose. Gabby, I think I am going to use it, thank you!

  6. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙂 I feel that it’s something I’ve just begun to do so this video came in a perfect time for me 🙂
Just wanted to say thanks and wish you a joyful and peaceful christmas and lots of happiness and Sucess in 2012 – I am looking very much forward to hear more from you in the new year 🙂

  7. Have a wonderful holiday! I love your positivity and conviction that we have the power within ourselves to be HAPPY!!
Thanks Gabby- you seem to echo just how I feel…..
    Jo.

  8. What if your “sit back and receive” perception is a false image of actually being afraid? In my case, I’m working on a list of qualities in something I want, but then to go out and get it, I am paralyzed with fear. But I’m fooling myself into believing it’s “sit back and receive.”
    Any suggestions? 🙂
(Your hair looks beautiful in the receive video, by the way.)

  9. I can’t decide which one of these speaks to me more! In general, I feel like an “eff it let’s go” person, but I see that I haven’t been going after the things that the universe wants me to. So now I’m going to try to “sit back & receive,” and see if that will help me start pursuing the things that are right for me. Thanks for the posts!

  10. Gabby,
You are such an inspiration and breath of Awesomeness. I just recently came across your book and herfuture.com.
Your teachers are affirmations that I am on my right path. Thank you for stepping into your purpose and trusting your Ing, when it came to putting yourself out there. Happy holidays. Heather Chauvin.

  11. Thank you. This is exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you for all of your love and guidance. You have been my angel lately. Your words and beautiful energy have been guiding me through a difficult time. I have so much gratitude for you!
    Thank you,
    Annie

  12. Loved the V-log for receiving.. a perfect moment to be gently reminded to let go and let the Spirit take the wheel and keep ourselves focussed on right thinking and to achieve the Highest good

  13. Wow!! This is EXACTLY what I’ve been trying to implement and practice lately and it’s been very challenging b/c I am a very outgoing/assertive person who always wants things done NOW lol. But there is a beautiful energy in receiving and tapping into the feminine which is very powerful. Thank you so much for encouraging all of us to tap into that beauty and to receive with grace. Peace and blessings ~Ariel

  14. I love this video Gabby. I truly believe in co-creating. Showing up and being open to what is meant to happen and what I’m meant to hear, feel, see, do. I LOVE your trusting and releasing video and repeat that prayer to myself often. xo

  15. There is such a fine line between visualizing and knowing what one wants and allowing oneself to truly co-create for the highest good w/ Spirit.

The ego can be powerful, but I like the simplicity of praying for my higher good. Done…nothing to create in my own egoic head!

    Thanks, Gabby!

  16. I watched “Sit Back & Receive” for the first time earlier this evening. I absolutely loved it and it made me feel great. Well, my Ego was put to the test a few hours later when I received an email from a friend that put me over the edge for a variety of reasons, and the rest of the night I’ve been repeating, silently to myself, what you said in the vlog about the Ego separating us from Love and not feeding it. Talk about watching the vlog right on time! Thanks, Gabby! I’m writing it in a post-it note to look at, too 😉

  17. Gabz, I am re-viewing these 4-5 months later now, but dang these two specifically are so aligned to my life and my intentions at this moment. One of my fave things to do when I’m in a rut is go back to your supply of “vintage” vlogs and re-view what applies to me during that week/day… anyway sweetheart love you and thank you, always.
