Nope! My biggest success has been breaking free from my anxiety disorder. 

You see, those things I mentioned above? They’re all pretty awesome.

But for years the one thing I wanted, the one thing I craved, was to wake up every single day without anxiety. 

Sure, I had to fight my ego on this. A little voice in my head would sometimes say, “Gabby, anxiety is a part of life. Get used to it!” 

But deep down, I knew there was a better way to live. Even on my hardest days, even in the very early stages of my sobriety, I held fast to this vision.

I was unapologetic about my desire, and I held great visions of it in my head. 

I meditated the feelings I desired, until I could actually feel them.


What would it would feel like to wake up after a full night of sleep, bounce out of bed, and excitedly start my day?

^^I breathed these feelings in.

As I imagined walking down the city streets, I saw myself enjoying the fresh air, and bopping along to some soothing music coming from my headphones.  

I pictured myself being present in all of my relationships.

And when I thought about work, I saw myself smiling through all my meetings.

For years, I held a vision of the way I wanted to feel. And one day, right around my 40th birthday … that vision became my reality.
