I often hear people complain that they feel unfulfilled in their lives. I’ve talked to many folks who feel disconnected regardless of their professional success, relationship status, family or anything else we associate with fulfillment and satisfaction.

It can be scary to confront the fact that we’ve based our lives on belief systems that lead to our downfall.

But if you feel disconnected from the very people and things that can and should enhance your sense of purpose and fill you with joy, this confrontation is liberating. It’s a wake-up call. A beam of light.

  2. That is exactly what I needed. I read your books, journaled, had daily affirmations and felt amazing for about a year. Life got busy (poor excuse) and I fell off the wagon. I am in a funk but I’m looking forward to the amazing bounce back once I start reading your books again, having daily affirmations and journal entries. I cannot wait to manifest miracles & attract love and light into my world again!

  4. Love this video! It is sooooooooooo important for us all to feel more fulfilled and connected in the world. Depression is so common and as an occupational therapist I know that what fights depression best is being engaged in activities and relationships that fill us up and make us feel connected.

  6. How can I be the light when I’m constantly being knocked of my feet (both in relationships as in my profession), I’m trying SO HARD but there’s always one step forward and two steps back.
    I’ve had enough, i want to be happy and move forward with ease now.

    1. Christine I was inspired to reply to you. I think we all have felt the way you’re describing — you’re not alone! :o)

      It can often seem impossible to get back up after a hard knock but I strongly believe things happen for a reason. What now may seem like getting knocked off your feet romantically or professionally, usually will make sense in hindsight. The Universe has a way of working in miraculous ways and fighting against the pure power of it can only lead to frustration.

      When I find myself feeling beat up by life it helps me to look inward and observe the energy I’m bringing to the experience. How I do anything is what I get so this can help me identify how my own energy is being reflected in the world around me. Often I find that what I’m seeking most is the one thing I’m unwilling to give, even if it’s not an obvious correlation at first. Observing gratitude for the wonderful things in my life is the quickest way to elevate my energy and start to see a shift for the better!

      I challenge you to look closely at the energy that you’re bringing to your relationships and experiences. Who do you need to forgive? Where is resentment running the show? When you start to heal your own perceptions of the world that’s when it becomes easier to be the light.
