  1. I was seriously future tripping about work this morning and felt myself slipping into the familiar, negative patterns of my ego. I came to the site for a quick break and this post was here right at the perfect time. Thanks, Gabby! Enjoy beautiful Aspen!

  2. Love this! and definitely what I needed to hear it. Thanks Gabby & hope you have a wonderful time skiing! πŸ™‚

  3. Just what I needed to hear! I spent several hours last night tossing and turning over something that may or may not happen in two months. While my I was able to put my ego back to bed and get some rest, I woke up feeling all kinds of funky because of it. Thanks so much for the reminder to check yourself before all that future tripping and past dwelling causes you to wreck yourself. Have a great vacation. xo

  4. Gabby, I totally needed this! Ever since having some minor surgery a few weeks ago, I’ve been suffering from TERRIBLE hypochondria. Debilitating. Every single pain or tremble has been blown up in my mind into a horrible health scare and it has totally stunted my flow. My brain tries to convince me that because I feel something–no matter how small–it must be real, severe & dangerous. The fear has made it so hard to live my life. I think I need to cut the crap πŸ™‚ It’s not easy, but it is so necessary.

      1. Hi, I know this is an old string, but still relevant. I too have a debilitating hypochondria that keeps getting worse. I’m so stuck that positive thinking doesn’t help. I’m on day 5 of May cause miracles. Any additional tips for me?

          1. Thank you very much for your reply. I am super determined to keep going.
Today I’ve had the privilege to experience some small shifts. I believe in miracles πŸ™‚
I’m a perfectionist and your message is just what I needed. Xoxo

  5. Gabby! This resonated with me. We are all so lucky to have you sending these awesome messages. I remember in Spirit Junkie you wrote you had a realization looking down from the lift and cleared the negative energy between you and your business partner. It’s always a story I’ll remember πŸ™‚ Have fun skiing!!

  6. That is what I needed to hear this morning. I will “cut the crap”. I have so much fear of starting my new business. Why I am I so scared to succeed. I officially have cut the crap! There is no more fear.

  7. Thank you Gabby!!! I needed to hear that this afternoon. I’m going to get the “work” done that I need to at my job, but while I do it I am going to take care of myself and nurture myself and listen to one of your lectures tonight to keep me on a sane and happy path. xoxo. Enjoy your trip.

  8. Loved this vlog, one of my favs. How many times do we have to prove to ourselves that what we need to get done will get done when it NEEDS to get done? We continue to over-think, worry, obsess and miss the love, signs, and experiences that TODAY has to offer. Thanks for the reminder to be grateful and live in the moment. PEACE and happy skiing!

  9. So what I needed to hear today! Get outta my EGO + cut the FRIGGIN’ CRAP! Thanks, Gabby! Can’t wait to see this weekend!

  10. seriously this vlog jumped up in my inbox just at the end of a day filled with recycling crap! thank you sincerely for the “shake” Gabby! bless you, ski safe, love and gratitude xx

  11. Today there are alot of emotions running through my head becasue my relationship ended a month ago. I was feeling bad about everything, thinking I was the bad one – but this was just what I needed to hear – to cut the crap, because I know I’m damn good and that I deserve the best!
This might seem like a small thing, but the tinest thing can make you feel so much better. I guess help is out there, I just need to be open minded to find it. Today I found it. Thank you!

  12. Thank you Gabby, such sweet timing! I have been waiting for a response to a message I left someone earlier in the day, and my ego was having a field day future tripping and literally making up ridiculous fear based scenarios about why this person had not been in touch. Within 20 minutes of watching your vlog and cutting the crap and feeling present, I got a response! Have a great trip and thank you for taking the time to post the vlog xx

  13. Yay – I am just starting to sit down in the mornings and ask my ing for help. Today I asked for help to release some anxiety, and fearful thinking. Turned on my computer and here you were! How cool is that πŸ™‚

  14. such such good timing this one and the last so perfectly timed…..hit right on exactly what is needed…nooo your not alone i fell deep into seasonal depression this spring. this last week now and the fear anxiety stories put me into a deep ravine …but once again been saved by GOD, spirit . thankyou from my heart

  15. Ahhhhh …. laughing out loud *right now* at how perfectly timed this vlog is for me.

Seriously, grinning ear to ear at where my mind was the exact moment I started listening to this {future trippin’ for shizzle}. Today is one of those blessed busy days, with what feels like a zillion things to do, and yet I’m all abuzz from a new creative opportunity that came this morning. But {thnx to you} rather than try to be 3 people in one day, rather than try to tackle 3 ventures in one hour, I’m now opting to laugh and to SIMPLIFY and to “cut the crap.”

We don’t always need to know the “how.” As long as we know our “why,” we’ll accomplish all that we dream to do in the time we’re meant to finish.

BIG hug and thnx for the reminder, Happy Skiing!

  16. Thank you SO much for posting this. I have many a moment where my mind just starts going full tilt into all the whens, hows and whys. I’m totally bookmarking this so I can just pop back in for a reminder when things get out of control. Thank you!!!

  17. Love this message! I easily beat myself up when I don’t get everything on my list done. My list will complete itself in all good time and I will not have my list did me!

    Thanks Gabby!

  18. Hey Gabi whatgot from that was False, Evidence Appearing Real I’m gonna pay that forward
An check yourself before you wreck yourself lol love that

  19. The past few days, all I’ve been doing is obsessing over the crap. It’s insane! So I couldn’t agree more; we’ve just got to cut out that worried, fear-based thinking and go enjoy right now!

  20. Go enjoy your skiing Gabby to the fullest! Don’t you think it’s in our mindfulness present-moment awareness when time expands and things fall into place?

Such a great reminder for me today.

    Much love,

  21. What a great message – one I need to hear everyday! Thank you so much Gabby for sharing your lessons. Much love.

  22. Perfect message today. I woke up anxious with my ego spinning out of control. Meditated and prayed back into a better space. Read “Adding More ~ing” and now watching your vlog was awesome. You’re the bomb Mama! ENJOY your vacay ?

  23. Thank you Gabby. I made myself a little sticky note affirmation, “Cut the CRAP!” I get in an ego war between future tripping and procrastinating sometime. This is will help.
See you this weekend in San Jose πŸ™‚

  24. Wow! Thank you Gabby! I love this and really needed to hear it. I especially love how you reminded us that this stuff isn’t real. I know that according to ACIM nothing but love is real, but when it comes to random freak outs about the future that’s REALLY not real, it’s completely made up on every level. That was an Ah Ha moment. Thank you and happy vacationing πŸ™‚

  25. Got home from work, chopped some firewood, brain wouldn’t shut up, watched the video, cut the crap, and went for a walk in the snow with my dog. Felt great, thanks for the reminder.

  26. Thank you so much for your work Gabby. Your blogs always inspire me and seem to be right on par with my ego and it’s bull. You always seem to tell me exactly what I need to be told on a weekly basis. Consider the crap cut πŸ˜€

    Much love

  27. This is great Gabby, I definitely notice that my “old thinking patterns” suck the life out of me, and deprive me of the energy to be present. They hold me back and keep me small. Well no more….it’s time to shed some light on that darkness πŸ™‚
Enjoy beautiful Colorado!! Ever since I moved here 3 years ago from the east coast the mountains have been my ocean πŸ™‚

  28. Hi Gabby, My girlfriend and I were at your NYC friday night event. It was outstanding! We both laughed at one point..-we think we were the oldest people there-(me 53) LOL! You are a gift to any generation-even mine-Thanks and enjoy Aspen. With Love and Respect, Bridget

    1. thank you SO much for saying this. I really want my message to expand far beyond one demographic. This is my intention and I greatly appreciate you helping me do that! i hope to see you again. love g

  29. You look so happy saying, “Cut the crap”. I whole-heartedly agree that what you hold onto becomes you, so let go and get going on the path forward.

  30. I’m awake in the middle of the night thinking about all of the things I need to do…I just watched this vlog and will now go back to sleep. Thank you πŸ™‚

  31. Hi Gabby, I was really thrilled to hear you speak on Friday and NYC, and I’m looking forward to participating in your group coaching in April. I’ve spent two summers performing with the Aspen Music Festival, and I must say, just being in such a beautiful place was a really transformational experience for me. I still use a lot of the scenery in my visualizations, and I’m happy you get to experience the joy that is Aspen on your vacation! If you happen to be a tea or coffee person, be sure to visit Parallel 15 on Hyman. The owner (Keith) is a wonderful soul, and it’s definitely my favorite cafe in Aspen. I hope you enjoy your trip!

  32. The flight from Denver to Aspen is truly magical…and so glad you had that as your backdrop to ‘cut the crap’. I just love this…thank you Gabby!

  33. Hi Gabby,
Thank you so much for this. I needed to hear it. I’m in recovery and my roommates told me this week that “they didn’t sign up for this”. I have to move out in July. But it’s not July. It’s April. And I need to be present. And deal with right now. And take it one day at a time. Thanks for the reminder! You rock!!! And I think I’m going to check out your talk in NYC on the 27th. xoxo

  34. Thank you so much for this message. It really hit home for me. It is so difficult for me to be in the moment. I try everday all day. I just went for a walk and I catch myself thinking about stuff that should be important at the moment.
