  1. Loved this video. So glad you are getting us prepared for 2013, to get us really thinking about what we want to improve upon. So often, we wait until the last minute and then don’t really think things through. I LOVE all of your video’s, but since I’ve only become a follower since you were on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday, I have alot to catch up on!!! I LOVED your Add more ING to your life. I’m currently reading Spirit Junkie and I’ve pre-orderd May Cause Miracles. Love what you do Gabby, keep up the fantastic, life-changing work!!

    1. Mamey, thanks for this post! I’m so psyched you’re on the Spirit Junkie train:) Stay connected and prepare those resolutions! xoxo

  2. Hi Gabby,
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years and recently read Spirit Junkie. One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned from you is that the more empowered I become (accessing the love within), the less separate I feel from others (including you!). It’s a very simple but life-changing truth.

    Thank you for inspiring love!

  3. Hi Gabby! I soooooo want to get off of sugar, but I’m scared that I’ll fail again. I’ve been off and on for years now. Feels like an all or nothing thing for me… When things aren’t going so well I dive back in. Thoughts? Worth a try…again??? I love your videos by the way! Way to vibrate girl!!! With so much love and gratitude, Heather

  4. I am willing to admit when I need help with my business.

I love your books. Have you thought about making them audio books? I was looking for Add More ~Ing in audio, (since it is my fav, )on itunes yesterday, but it wasn’t there.

  5. Hi Gabby,

Your books have really helped me. I am pregnant and the father (whom I dated on and off for two years) is absent. It was a very codependent relationship and my ego drove me crazy. I accept my assignment and know that there is much for me to learn here that is for my highest good. What I want to let go of in 2013 is my attachment to this man. Mentally I understand that he and I are not healthy together and have much to learn. My heart just needs to catch up and that’s what I will be praying for the willingness to change and see this situation differently.

  6. Hi Gabby,
love the ~ing book and your vids. Does the earlybird-special for the mcm book also work with a receipt# from
    Thanks and love!

  7. I love this! I want to let go of my job as a cashier and work on my website, which is what I have always wanted to do. It’s a huge change, and the website has only been up for 3 weeks, but it is going well, and I want it to keep growing.

I think the mantra is especially powerful, I will do it everyday!
    Thank you!

  8. Interesting.. my 2012 goal was to “get more organized..” but it was probably < 5.. I did a few things but I think I need to open up to this because as you have said – chaos (or being unorganized) attracts more chaos.. And I have attention deficit issues, too! ha! πŸ™‚

  9. Thank you for getting us to look ahead and prepare for the new year. This was great!

Now for my question as a stylist: Where did you get the shirt you’re wearing in the video?

    Always with Style and Love-

  10. I am willing to change my mind about work/career. I am willing to create a positive experience of my job and my perceptions of work. I am willing to hold space for doing work I enjoy and working with people I enjoy.

    1. I am willing to change the 20 year+ cyclical pattern of not believing in myself, self destructive behavior (negative thinking, over consumtion of alcohol) anger and refusing to let go of the past. I am willing to change this pattern to live a more full and abundant life

  11. Love this post! I’m getting very excited for a new 2013 and am excited to start it off with your book. I love the tip of numbering importance of change. I often tend to set myself up for failure by trying to change things I am not quite ready to change yet.

  12. I am willing to accept positive change in my work life, my internal love life and my schedule. Thank you for helping me put it so gracefully into world.

  13. Thanks to SuperSoulSunday I’ve discovered you!!! After almost 10 years of trying I’m finally a Mom but now I have a hard time enjoying the ride bc I put so much pleasure on myself…for some reason I thought I would be better at this…I need to change the way I look at this wonderful journey of motherhood…I need to enjoy the ride and focus less of perfection. I’ve just started reading Add More ~ing To Your Life and am ready to learn how to change!

  14. Hello Gabby,

Great video!. They’re many things I would be changing this upcoming year as in begin more active exercise more , mediate twice a day for 30 minutes give up alcohol completely,..

  15. I too saw you on Super Soul Sunday and so related to your message and authenticity. I am going to pray for the willingness to let go of a 20-year affair with an eating disorder that continues to crop up in my mind. Thank you for your commitment and love. It shines through and I am so looking forward to the adventure with you

          1. Monica – by any chance are you a member of Her Future? I would love to connect with your kind spirit πŸ™‚

  16. 5 changes that first come to mind…
    1. Show up as the wise, brilliant, beautiful, woman of great value more in my life
    2. Eat only when hunger beckons me
    3. Dialogue with the creative forces of Life through journaling or audibly, everyday
    4. Dance more (free dance in my room, or take lessons.. doesn’t matter)
    5. Invest in clothes that I feel sexy and beautiful in

  17. I am willing to work on being more willing to let go of my unhealthy beliefs about money and career. Right now I’m pretty attached to them, even though I know they’re hurting me.

  18. Gabby,
Thanks for all your beautiful work and sharing it with us. I am in London, and your group coaching is basically at the time when I’ll be already dreaming away. Is there any chance that you would send me the recordings / recored videos after each session? If that works that would be awesome, will pre order your book anyway, but just wanted to check first with you. Lots of love xxxx

  19. Beautiful. It’s so true that often people make resolutions or set goals based on what they think they should do rather than how they feel and what they truly want. Willingness to change is huge. Former smokers will say that quitting didn’t stick until they were truly ready. Quitting anything, or starting anything.

It looks like between you and Danielle LaPorte, late 2012 and early 2013 is a transformative time in my life. It was reassuring when during a meditation last week my -ing screamed “THE UNIVERSE IS PREPARING YOU!” (my “meditation journal” is online and I was compelled to type it in caps). In the months that I’ve been searching for a job and/or freelance clients I’ve often had the feeling that the universe is laying the groundwork for what I’m supposed to do, and maybe what I’m supposed to do hasn’t been invented yet. Never has it been as loud as it was last week.

  20. hi gabby,

thanks for this video, OMG i needed to hear that. Especially asking myself the question “am i willing to change”. At the moment i am struggling with getting the balls to perform on stage. I’m in a band and whenever we perform i let my fears and ego get me down, that negative, shaming voice in my head starts berating me for taking actions toward my dreams. Watching your videos is helping me change my perceptions and realize that my thoughts are just thoughts not monsters, but am i willing to change? sometimes i feel like my mind thrives off the negativity…..ugh! so masochistic, because when i allow myself to be positive and take risks it’s amazing how i feel the universe shows up to hold and support me, plus if i put myself in service oriented mindset toward my band mates it helps take me out of the self-pity or fear of looking like a dumbass. Another thing your video has helped me realized is that the universe is just waiting for us to shine, and so are our fellows. Thank you for providing a comments blog for me to ramble about this stuff, sometimes i feel its trivial that I have these fears, but deep down i am realizing how my main fears are of being vulnerable and exposed…letting the world see who I really am and letting go of the outcome. Can i find faith in that? well i guess the only way to find out is to take the risk.

  21. Hey Gab…You said you would get off coffee this year and you did…we are still in 2012;-)

I believe that for addictions, there is a part of us deeply wanting to change but at the same time, resistance coming strong. Wanting but not wanting is so normal. The time you took to process the change you desired was necessary in order to let go of it and everything came to place so that you succeed!!!

  23. I am committing to choosing love over fear, and committing to getting back up and dusting myself off whenever I fall back into fear. I am committing to letting the universe have my back.

    1. Melissa – I have the same exact resolutions as you! I would like to add being gentle and compassionate with myself when I fall back into fear. Thank you for posting!

  24. Hi Gabby, I love your vlogs a LOT, they help me recalibrate into my power energy very often, so thank you! It is the first time I comment on one of your vlogs even though I have seen them all πŸ˜‰ putting myself out there is something that I’m currently working on too. One of my greatest things that I want for the new year and that is not a 4 or 5, but a BIG 10 is being my true self! Through reading your books, coaching, daily meditation practice and I recently started studying ACIM, I have become pretty strong at interacting and quieting my ego (most of the time ;-)) and I want to keep that throughout the next year and my whole life! Ego-eradicator rocks!!! I have been consistently doing it every morning since 10 days and I feel amazing! Your live group coaching last week was a great wake-up call for getting clear about how I want to feel – manifesting feelings is beautiful and super-exciting! THANK YOU! Lots of love, Alexandra

  25. Creating a daily practice for myself where I pray, meditate, visualize, be of service and physically move my body with discipline. I want to choose to be commited to my daily practice.

  26. Dear Gabby,
I am following your work since last December. I found an article about you in the New York Times by accident (when the student is ready the teacher appears ;-). I would love to attend one of your live sessions, but I live in Munich. Will you come to Europe again?
Thank you for your great work! It helps me to be a better person, the one I always wanted to be.
I commit to chose love over fear. Always!
    Hugs from Germany,

  27. I want to get my fianances is order and not be short. I want to let go of a relationship that prevents me from finding the man of my dreams.

  28. Thanks Gabby ! What a timely message. Watched it twice and
enjoying strength in breakthroughs I had recently which needed grounding through action. … and WOW!!!!! on your secoond appearance on Super Soul Sunday. I’ll be watching Sunday.

  29. I know I commented already, but this vlog has been in the back of my mind all week. My desired changes:
    1. Stop my procrastination habit (or, at least, really become aware of when it’s serving me and when it’s not).

    2. Finally write my first ebook (I started yesterday!)

    3. Start delivering and being accountable rather than making excuses.

    4. Continue to reacquaint myself with my inner voice and reengage with it nicely after years of love-hate relationship. I think I’m learning to trust it again. Reading Spirit Junkie, I’ve decided that the ego is a “frenemy”, or the evil girl at school who pretends to be your friend (I made that connection while watching Glee).

  30. Hi Gabby,
Your posts and tweets have surely been a constant source of momentum, as I witness your continuous growth – since last spring when I first heard you on HayHouse Radio! Congratulations on such a wonderful positive empowering space you hold for others πŸ™‚ My greatest challenge in 2012 has not been the daily recovery process from a traumatic brain injury, but the letting go of a former way of life, and moving forward to embrace the future in a most loving and compassionate, self-forgiving and self-nurturing way. Your bright and cheerful, life-affirming posts have been like an anchor… Even when I was in a bad mood or going through a desperate space, I would see your tweet and think damn that girl! πŸ˜‰ So life has become more light-hearted and I feel spiritually stronger and as I head into 2013, Dec 31st is the one year anniversary of my accident. I’m sensitive to acknowledging it and passing it by looking positively toward so many wonderful things in store that life is offering – leaving space for miracles ! You rock sister! πŸ˜€

  31. Gabby, what can you tell us about how to deal with this horrible tragedy in CT. I am meditating and trying to send light and healing their way. Is there anything else I can or should do at this time? I have thought of you often since the shootings occurred, wondering how you would deal with this.

  32. I want to let go of my social anxiety and depression that has been holding back from my life. It has held me back from everything. I am tried of being unhappy, unaware, unfoucus, unwanted and unloved. Change needs to come.

  33. Thank you for sharing your insights and love with the world. One of the things I would like to change is: Cut sugar, coffee, exercise more or at least 3 times per week, have more will power to start meditating everyday.:)
Thanks for your help! see you in Miami in January!!

  34. Just discovered your website through a link on something else I was reading. What a great post. Thank you!

I can’t wait to read one of your books.

Quick question…which one should I start with?

  35. Hi Gabby,

It’s Rania the Greek! – we met in London.
I took a break from you for a few months (hope that makes sense) and came back couple of days ago, although I have been sporadically practicing a few of your meditations such as cord cutting. I have to admit that I was not fully on board as I never got the ‘be of service’ part until a few days ago – I am a recovering codependent and confused being of service with being enslaved by someone. In this sense, I felt like I have been ‘of service’ all my life (with a recent experience added to the long list) so I could not bring myself to be of service anymore: so I rebelled. The irony is that I rebelled against myself. I think I now get it – being of service has nothing in common with being enslaved a codependent.

On a different note, may I say that watching your recent videos made me realise how much you have grown doing what you are doing – and I mean even physically. You look serene and ‘complete’ which is something I strive for as well. You are also teaching me how to fully commit to something and the positive result – I have been a half-a**ed writer/script doctor for so many years. I really do admire your passion and look forward to applying it to all the things I want to do.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
